V prebavilih, natan\u010dneje v \u010drevesju, \u017eivi na milijarde bakterij. Mnoge od teh bakterij so potrebne in zelo koristne, imenujejo pa se probiotiki. Probiotiki sodelujejo pri zelo pomembni, zadnji fazi prebave, varujejo telo pred patogenimi mikroorganizmi, tako da s presnovo ustvarjajo razmere, ki prepre\u010dujejo njihovo razmno\u017eevanje, sodelujejo pri sintezi nekaterih vitaminov skupine B in vitamina K ter so pomembni za normalno delovanje obrambnega sistema. Poleg koristnih bakterij v \u010drevesju \u017eivijo tudi \u0161kodljive. Prav od ravnovesja med koristnimi in \u0161kodljivimi bakterijami je odvisno, kako bodo delovala prebavila, kar vpliva tudi na splo\u0161no zdravje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ravnovesje lahko poru\u0161ijo \u0161tevilni dejavniki, denimo stres, nepravilna in neuravnote\u017eena prehrana, psihofizi\u010dna iz\u010drpanost, kroni\u010dne bolezni in povi\u0161ana telesna temperatura, ne smemo pa prezreti niti jemanja zdravil, zlasti antibiotikov. Posledica poru\u0161enega ravnovesja je porast \u00bbslabih\u00ab bakterij, kar neredko pripelje do zdravstvenih te\u017eav, med katerimi so driska, zaprtje, napenjanje, pomanjkanje pomembnih vitaminov in mineralov zaradi omejene absorpcije v \u010drevesju ter oslabljeno delovanje obrambnega sistema. Spro\u017eijo se vnetni procesi, celovitost \u010drevesne sluznice je na\u010deta, zato postane prepustna za \u0161kodljive snovi in pride do motenj v presnovi. Z drugimi besedami, na\u0161a \u010drevesna mikroflora se spreminja, zato jo moramo redno obnavljati. <strong>V veliko pomo\u010d so nam <\/strong><strong>prebiotiki<\/strong><strong> \u2013 hrana za koristne bakterije.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prebiotiki so neprebavljive sestavine hrane, ki spodbujajo rast in aktivnost koristnih mikroorganizmov v \u010drevesju. Prebiotiki so prete\u017eno vlaknine in oligosaharidi, kompleksni ogljikovi hidrati, ki jih telo ne more prebaviti. Skozi tanko \u010drevo potujejo neprebavljeni in prispejo v debelo \u010drevo, kjer jih fermentirajo koristne bakterije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prebiotiki so skupina hranljivih snovi, ki jih razgradi \u010drevesna mikrobiota. Njihova povezava s splo\u0161nim zdravjem v zadnjih letih vzbuja vse ve\u010dje zanimanje. Lahko so hrana za \u010drevesno mikrobioto, njihovi razgradni produkti pa so kratkoveri\u017ene ma\u0161\u010dobne kisline, ki se spro\u0161\u010dajo v krvni obtok ter tako vplivajo ne le na prebavila, temve\u010d tudi na druge, bolj oddaljene organe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nekateri endogeni dejavniki, kot je izlo\u010danje mucina, lahko sicer vplivajo na ravnovesje mikrobov, vendar je <strong>prehrana glavni vir energije za njihovo rast<\/strong>. Zlasti neprebavljivi ogljikovi hidrati lahko bistveno spremenijo sestavo in delovanje \u010drevesne mikrobiote. Koristni \u010drevesni mikrobi fermentirajo te neprebavljive snovi v \u017eivilih, imenovane prebiotiki, in z razgradnjo neprebavljivih vezi prebiotikov dobivajo energijo za pre\u017eivetje. Zato lahko prebiotiki selektivno vplivajo na \u010drevesno mikrobioto. Ta pa posledi\u010dno vpliva na \u010drevesne funkcije, na primer na presnovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koncept prebiotika sta leta 1995 predstavila Glenn Gibson in Marcel Roberfroid. Prebiotik sta opredelila kot \u00bbneprebavljivo \u017eivilsko sestavino, ki ima ugoden u\u010dinek na gostitelja, saj selektivno spodbuja rast in\/ali aktivnost ene ali omejenega \u0161tevila bakterij v debelem \u010drevesu in s tem izbolj\u0161a zdravje gostitelja\u00ab. Ta opredelitev je ve\u010d kot 15 let ostala skoraj nespremenjena. V skladu z njo lahko med prebiotike uvrstimo le nekaj ogljikohidratnih spojin, kot so kratke in dolge verige \u03b2-fruktanov (fruktooligosaharidi in inulin), laktuloza in galaktooligosaharidi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na \u0161estem sre\u010danju Mednarodnega znanstvenega zdru\u017eenja za probiotike in prebiotike (ISAPP) leta 2008 so \u00bbprehranske prebiotike\u00ab opredelili kot \u00bbselektivno fermentirano sestavino, ki povzro\u010di specifi\u010dne spremembe v sestavi in\/ali aktivnosti gastrointestinalne mikrobiote in tako gostitelju prinese zdravstvene koristi\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mehanizmi delovanja <\/strong><strong>prebiotikov<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ker prebiotiki zagotavljajo vire energije za \u010drevesno mikrobioto, lahko modulirajo sestavo in delovanje teh mikroorganizmov. Razgradni produkti prebiotikov so ve\u010dinoma SCFA-ji (kratkoveri\u017ene ma\u0161\u010dobne kisline). Te molekule so dovolj majhne, da difundirajo skozi \u010drevesne enterocite in preidejo v krvni obtok. Prebiotiki zato ne vplivajo le na prebavni trakt, temve\u010d tudi na druge organe in sisteme, ki so oddaljeni od njega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koristne bakterije s fermentacijo prebiotikov proizvajajo kratkoveri\u017ene ma\u0161\u010dobne kisline (SCFA), kot so butirati, acetati in propionati. Te ma\u0161\u010dobne kisline imajo \u0161tevilne pozitivne u\u010dinke na zdravje:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Izbolj\u0161ana prebava<\/strong>: SCFA-ji spodbujajo \u010drevesno peristaltiko, pomagajo uravnavati prebavo in prepre\u010dujejo zaprtje.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Izbolj\u0161ana odpornost<\/strong>: SCFA-ji krepijo \u010drevesno pregrado in spodbujajo proizvodnjo imunskih celic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zmanj\u0161ana vnetja<\/strong>: SCFA-ji imajo protivnetne lastnosti in lahko pomagajo zmanj\u0161ati tveganje za kroni\u010dne bolezni.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Izbolj\u0161ana absorpcija mineralov<\/strong>: SCFA-ji spodbujajo absorpcijo kalcija, magnezija in drugih mineralov.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Uravnavanje ravni sladkorja v krvi<\/strong>: SCFA-ji lahko prispevajo k izbolj\u0161anju ob\u010dutljivosti za insulin in uravnavanju ravni sladkorja v krvi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Viri <\/strong><strong>prebiotikov<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prebiotike najdemo v razli\u010dnih \u017eivilih, med katerimi so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sadje in zelenjava<\/strong>: \u010debula, \u010desen, por, arti\u010doke, banane, jabolka.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polnozrnata \u017eita<\/strong>: oves, je\u010dmen, r\u017e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stro\u010dnice<\/strong>: fi\u017eol, le\u010da, \u010di\u010derka.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Korenina cikorije<\/strong>: bogata z inulinom, ki je vrsta prebiotika.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Med<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pomen <\/strong><strong>prebiotikov<\/strong><strong> za zdravje<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Redno u\u017eivanje prebiotikov je bistveno za ohranjanje zdrave \u010drevesne mikroflore in splo\u0161nega zdravja.
