Vse ve\u010d klini\u010dnih \u0161tudij in dokazov potrjuje, da lahko probiotiki, prebiotiki in postbiotiki prepre\u010dujejo in zdravijo razli\u010dne bolezni, vendar jih je trenutno mogo\u010de uporabljati le kot prehranska dopolnila, in ne kot zdravila, kar omejuje njihovo uporabo na medicinskem podro\u010dju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010clove\u0161ka \u010drevesna mikrobiota je zapleten ekosistem, ki ga sestavljajo trilijoni mikroorganizmov, vklju\u010dno z bakterijami, virusi, glivami in drugimi mikrobnimi organizmi. Ta bujni raznoliki mikrobiom se je razvil skupaj s \u010dlovekom, oblikujejo pa ga na\u0161a fiziologija, prehrana in na\u010din \u017eivljenja. Mikrobiota opravlja \u0161tevilne vloge v \u010drevesju, njena homeostaza pa je nepogre\u0161ljiv vidik zdravja. Nedavne znanstvene raziskave so razkrile, da je homeostaza \u010drevesne mikrobiote klju\u010dna za uravnavanje vnetnih procesov, vzdr\u017eevanje presnovne homeostaze ter zorenje in uravnavanje imunskega sistema. Vendar lahko motnje v homeostazi \u010drevesne mikrobiote, ki jih imenujemo disbioza, prispevajo k razvoju \u0161tevilnih bolezni. To so na primer vnetna \u010drevesna bolezen (IBD), debelost, sladkorna bolezen tipa 2, pa tudi sistemske bolezni, vklju\u010dno z boleznimi srca in o\u017eilja, nekaterimi vrstami raka in nevrodegenerativnimi motnjami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bbBiotiki\u00ab je splo\u0161en pojem, ki vklju\u010duje razli\u010dne snovi in mikroorganizme, ki pozitivno vplivajo na \u017eive organizme, zlasti na zdravje ljudi. Zdravje \u010drevesja je klju\u010dno za splo\u0161no zdravje, probiotiki, prebiotiki in postbiotiki pa so osrednji akterji pri ohranjanju ravnovesja \u010drevesne mikroflore. \u010ceprav jih pogosto omenjamo skupaj, je pomembno razumeti njihove razlike in vloge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Antibiotiki<\/strong> \u2013 snovi, ki zavirajo rast bakterij ali jih uni\u010dujejo. Uporabljamo jih za zdravljenje bakterijskih oku\u017eb. Razlikujejo se po spektru delovanja (na katere vrste bakterij u\u010dinkujejo) in mehanizmu delovanja (kako uni\u010dujejo bakterije). Pomembno je poudariti, da z antibiotiki ne zdravimo virusnih oku\u017eb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Probiotiki<\/strong> \u2013 \u017eivi mikroorganizmi (najpogosteje bakterije), ki imajo ob zadostnem u\u017eivanju pozitiven u\u010dinek na zdravje gostitelja. Najve\u010dkrat jih najdemo v fermentiranih \u017eivilih, kot so jogurt, kefir in kislo zelje. Pomagajo ohranjati ravnovesje \u010drevesne mikrobiote, krepijo imunski sistem in izbolj\u0161ujejo prebavo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prebiotiki<\/strong> \u2013 neprebavljive sestavine hrane, ki spodbujajo rast in aktivnost koristnih bakterij v \u010drevesju. Ve\u010dinoma so to vlaknine, ki jih najdemo v sadju, zelenjavi in polnozrnatih \u017eitih. Prebiotiki \u00bbhranijo\u00ab probiotike in tako pove\u010dajo njihovo u\u010dinkovitost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sinbiotiki<\/strong> \u2013 izdelki, ki vsebujejo tako probiotike kot prebiotike, zaradi \u010desar imajo sinergijski u\u010dinek.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Postbiotiki<\/strong> \u2013 bioaktivne spojine, ki jih proizvajajo \u017eivi mikroorganizmi. Lahko gre za presnovke, delce celic ali strukturne sestavine. Postbiotiki so \u00bbstranski proizvodi\u00ab fermentacije probiotikov in pozitivno vplivajo na zdravje. Postbiotiki ne vsebujejo \u017eivih organizmov. Lahko so encimi, organske kisline, bakteriocini, vitamini.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Probiotiki<\/strong><strong> so torej koristni \u017eivi mikrobi, <\/strong><strong>prebiotiki<\/strong><strong> so hrana za te mikrobe, <\/strong><strong>postbiotiki<\/strong><strong> pa so koristne spojine, ki jih <\/strong><strong>probiotiki<\/strong><strong> proizvedejo.
